It was his vision that created PACCS and made PACCS the first team practice in Anesthesia and Critical Care in India. The aim was to set global standards in anesthesia practice coupled with ethics and evidence based anesthesia and critical care. The bedrock of his philosophy is to continuously raise the bar and incorporate best practice and be updated in the latest techniques and knowledge. He has turned around many a unit into profit making ones by his innovative management methods – to name a few Gurunanak Care Hospital, Care Hospital Banjara Hills, Citizens Hospital Hyderabad. He has been a member of many national and international panels eg. National Core Group on Regulatory Norms and Patient Monitoring.
The continued success of PACCS, the confidence and well wishes it enjoys amongst the medical community is a testimony to his path breaking vision. Apart from PACCS, he is also the founder and Chairman of HEALTHSIGNZ – web based health and wellness mobile platform which aims to revolutionize health care in India.
Dr. Sunil Pandya is the co-founder & the pillar of PACCS and academician par excellence and an authority in Obstetric Anesthesia, Critical Care and Cardiac Anesthesia. He heads the academic programmes of PACCS and is responsible for various presentations, publications, clinical practice tools and various other research programs of PACCS. He has initiated the landmark Obstetric Anesthesia Fellowship program in the county under aegis of PACCS. This is the only recognized program of AOA.
He is a member of the task force in Obstetric Anesthesia Guideline Committee. He is also a peer reviewer of indexed national and international journals. Apart from founder Director at PACCS he is also a Director at Century Hospital in Hyderabad.
The senior most anesthesiologist in PACCS and is viewed as a mentor and is revered by all members of PACCS team. He has vast experience of having taught many post graduate students of anesthesia and has the unique distinction of starting the first open heart cardiac surgery program in the govt sector in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He had the privilege of working with the doyen of cardiac surgery in India, Dr. T.J. Cherian. He heads the Anesthetic and Critical Care work of PACCS, which is the largest volume of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgeries in India. He also has the vast experience of organizing and managing the anesthetic services of AIGE which also does country’s highest number of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. He is also the Director of Surgical Intensive Care Unit at AIGE, Hyderabad.
Among various research projects his works also include the first animal study of pancreatic islet cell transplant, first of its kind in the country.
She heads the anesthesiology department at Fernandez Hospital, Unit-I at Abids for PACCS. Her interests are in obstetric and transplant anesthesia. She has two decades of experience in managing high risk obstetric women for anesthesia and critical care. She is a teacher for post-doctoral fellowship course of obstetric anesthesia. She is the Director of Human Resource Division of PACCS and has management responsibilities of scouting talent pool for PACCS.
She heads the anesthesiology department for PACCS at Unit-II of Fernandez Hospital, Hyderguda. She is a natural leader and motivator. She is a member of the Ethics Committee and Clinical Risk Management Committee at Fernandez Hospital. She heads the workshop and conference committee at PACCS. She dons the leadership role of organizing the workshops and conferences of PACCS along with her management team. Her scientific acumen and sharp decision making prowess earned her the role of Director of Content Development at PACCS for HealthSignz Technologies.
Dr. Rahul Sanyal brings wisdom to PACCS and also has vast experience of work as anesthesiologist clubbed with management skills. He worked as the head of the unit of anesthesia in sectors like CRPF and Railways before joining PACCS. He did pioneering work in documentation of anesthesia records and also framed guidelines for infection control committees in those organisations. He has management diploma in Health Care Services from New South Wales, Australia. He dons leadership role in leading anesthetic services at Asian Institute of Gastroenterology for PACCS.
Dr. Srinivas was heading the anesthetic services for PACCS at Hyderabad Kidney and Laparoscopic Centre. He has experience of working in United Kingdom and Muscat for about a decade. He also has an administrative role at PACCS and he is responsible for the research works and content for the various PACCS activities.
Dr. Nityanand is the head of Anesthesia and Critical Care for PACCS at the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology. He has a vast working experience in Anesthesia and Critical Care in various hospitals in United Kingdom and India. He also brings expertise in advance pediatric life support, ATLS (Advance Trauma Life Support) and ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support). He takes an active part in organizing and conducting workshops for PACCS.
Dr. Ramakrishna heads the department of Anesthesia and Critical Care for PACCS at Guru Nanak Care Hospital, Hyderabad. He dons the leadership in Cardiac Anesthesia and Intensive Care and his soft demeanor has endeared him to both the management and fellow colleagues at Guru Nanak Care Hospital, Hyderabad.
